Rough Drafts from a Writer's Life
Simply gorgeous. My flowers have been a complete failure this year. The hubby and I have come to the conclusion that we're going to have tear out our flowerbeds and start fresh. Only the roses will be spared as they are flourishing.
Mother Nature really usually gets her own way, doesn't she? Must be a good year for roses in general -- as Teddy's gift to me suggests.
I know poeple call these "day lilies." Am I the only one who knows them as "Michigan lilies"?
I did not know them as "Michigan lilies" but I really like that idea.
