One thinks that roses can't really be like that. The irony is that these are English roses. About three years ago I bought three bushes at Bordines. And finally now after several years (and winter rose cones)and spraying their leaves with soapy water to keep the bugs away, a miracle. A way to celebrate my mother's continued diminished but peaceful state. In her life she struggled with depression too, but those struggles seem to have fallen away. Replaced by roses shared by her daughter and dearest friend.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
